Wise Guys Pizzeria
About This Spot
Wise Guys Pizzeria greets you like a familiar neighborhood spot where the hum of conversation blends easily with the clink of glasses and the occasional cheer from the small bar’s TV screens. Nestled in Yorba Linda, this place invites a comfortable, unhurried pace—whether you’re settling in outdoors on a warm evening or grabbing a quick to-go order. There’s a genuine ease to the atmosphere, where families gather around picnic-style tables and friends share stories over craft beers and casual bites.
The outdoor seating is a defining element here, lending a lively, open-air feel that’s particularly welcoming for those who appreciate a bit of community buzz. Children nearby often roam and play freely, adding a sense of joyful energy without feeling chaotic. The hint of fresh garlic from the kitchen drifts through the air, teasing the appetite as you watch pizzas slide from oven to table, their toppings offering an inviting mix of thoughtful combinations rather than predictable standards.
Wise Guys offers more than just pizza—it’s a place where sandwiches, crisp salads, and shareable starters like bruschetta or goat cheese in marinara create a genuinely satisfying casual meal. There’s a warmth in the way the menu complements the neighborhood vibe: thoughtfully varied without overwhelming, with a nod to both classic flavors and playful twists.
The bar pours a selection of beers and ciders that pair perfectly with the laid-back, come-as-you-are spirit of the place. Special touches like seasonal specials—green beer on St. Patrick’s Day, for example—add a bit of festive flavor to regular visits. A small but welcoming community gathers here on game nights, blending easy conversation with the background cheers and focused attention that live sports inspire.
In many ways, Wise Guys Pizzeria captures a simple but rare balance—good food that doesn’t take itself too seriously, a space that feels both bustling and welcoming, and an experience rooted deeply in the rhythm of everyday neighborhood life. It’s exactly the sort of spot where a Saturday evening unfolds naturally into shared plates, laughter, and easy moments that linger just a little longer.

I loved coming across this hidden gem! They have a great selection of unique pizzas (as my favorite was the Hitman--that had a nice blend of toppings & flavors). They seem to be pretty crowded most of the time, so I always prefer to only order to-go. Wise Guys Pizzeria is definitely worth checking out whenever you're in Yorba Linda!

In short, Good neighborhood pizza place. Long lines at peak hours. Nice outdoor seating area. With a few more details, Line can get long and phone can get ignored. Great outdoor seating area. Little bar with TVs for sports games with some inside seating area. The pizza is good and I thing would be considered pan pizza. If you’re looking for NY style, it’s not it but nonetheless the best pizza place in the area. Prices are decent. Dough is good. And flavors are decent as well. Only thing that was a bit disappointing were the garlic knots. They were a bit undercooked. I’ll probably come back.

This is such a fun spot for a casual dinner with kids. Outdoors is where you want to be, and on a busy weekend night there are a lot of kids playing in the empty fenced lot immediately next to the outdoor seating area. Bring closed toe shoes for your kids because there's dirt everywhere and they will get filthy. The pizza is great and the garlic knots are perfect. It's all very fresh. We'll continue to come back when we're in the area.
